This video of the sidelines is amazing. The coach reactions:
The coach...Sam Mikulak. I think he can take a little share in that medal since it was an unfulfilled dream during his competitive career.

Twitter's apparently been having a grand time discovering Stephen today, these tweets are hilarious!
I think it was funny that some were fanning and trying to air out their leos and then there were some of the Chinese in their down puffy coats.

Paris Expected To Avoid Major Heat Wave During First Week of Olympic Games
An intense heat wave is lurking in portions of southern and eastern Europe, but Paris should be in the clear during the opening stages of the Olympics.swimswam.com
Expected to hit 99-100F Tuesday.
If you watched Women's qualifications, multiple gymnasts were hot/fanning themselves.
I would've thought Paul Juda and his golden retriever puppy happiness would've come out to be the Internet's favorite.
Just landing on the spring board does not work in socks. The one time I did that without thinking, my feet slid straight across the spring board. Maybe they used one of those trampoline boards.Dying at that commercial with a gymnast vaulting a yamashita in socks and then winning a gold medal.

The only think I thought was crazy was that Tim and crew weren't name dropping him all over the place. He was the center of us mag for like 3 Olympics. Even the 4 year fans might remember who he is enough to rate a mention. This is maybe the cutest thing Iāve ever seen. Also. Sam Mikulak was jumping up and down like crazy, and itās so good to see something happen good on the Mikulak front.
Don't be dissin' the puffy coat!I think it was funny that some were fanning and trying to air out their leos and then there were some of the Chinese in their down puffy coats.
I was there. In the stands, it doesnāt feel like thereās no AC. It would have been hotter yesterday if there was none. Will someone confirm that there's really no AC at the arena?
Yeah, well, that wasnāt the case from Friday through Sunday. The heat wave started yesterday. Iām actually in Paris and in the arena. If the gymnasts are hot, itās because theyāre wearing long sleeves and moving around. I havenāt been uncomfortable wearing a t-shirt and sitting for hours. The venue where table tennis is being held has had the best AC so far, though. I was actually chilly.

It isn't a major championship without China's puffy coats. I don't make the rules.Don't be dissin' the puffy coat!
