The thing is they don’t really need the highest scoring athletes, they need the most consistent and high scoring. Wong and DiCello had misses and while they are lovely athletes, they don’t add that much over a more consistent athlete. They definitely don’t need Eaker and her hit-or-miss beam.

I guess we will have a clear way of evaluating how they pick the team. If Wong makes it, we will know they looked at the math. If Grace makes it, they decided to go top four and looked at her improvement.

@Doug1233 Would you trust Wong on floor at the Olympics? I know critical downgrades can decimate her score. (On the other hand, I think the US WILL count a fall or two in team final. We did at 2019 Worlds)
