Was Sam’s fall (plus lost D) the diff between USA and GBR?

Shane had issues, too, on floor. His score was significantly lower (more than a point) even though he didn’t fall. I’m not solely going to place the blame on Sam. The team was four points lower on floor than in prelims.

At least Sam’s fall didn’t cost a medal.

Did GB go 18 for 18?

That was quite the shitshow from the US on floor. I really thought they were well clear on 4th, they’d been better than prelims on most of the other events and had about 2 points on GB going into the final round.

Also, Max doe not seem like someone who’s about to win another Olympic pommels title.

I don’t think Shane stuck any pass except his last. One pass was significantly low and messy. I don’t know exact deductions, so my explanation is vague.
