Chellsie Memmel, Uneven Bars

1 x E (Hindorff)
4 x D (Pak salto, Maloney, Tkatchev, double front dismount)
2 x C (clear hip, giant full)
1 x B (giant to blind change)

Total DV - 2.9

CV:

Hindorff + Pak salto (E + D or higher, both with flight) - 0.2

Total CV - 0.2

CR

Flight from high bar to low bar - Pak salto
Flight element on same bar - Hindorff
Different Grips - Maloney, front giant
Non-flight with 360 degree turn - giant full

Total D - 2.9 + 0.2 + 2.0 = 5.1

Downgrades

clear hip
  • did not finish within 10 degrees of handstand, drops in value by one letter
Total D - 2.8 + 0.2 + 2.0 = 5.0

^ Leg separation is only greater than shoulder width on the second salto, and likely not as obvious from the side.

It may be easier, but she’d lose the .2 CV she gets for Maloney + close-bar pirouette with 1/2 turn.

Honestly, I wonder if she could the Hindorff out of the Maloney. (So Maloney + Hindorff + Pak for D + E + D + 0.4)

I wonder if she maybe gave up on Maloney + Tkatchev only because competition season was coming so soon. Maybe she’ll come back to that.

Man, that she even wanted to compete day 2 with that is amazing. Last year my ankle gave out as I was going down the stairs and I jammed my knee and it was 9 months before it stopped feeling like it was on fire. 14 months post jamming and I am now able to jog without pain. I can’t imagine trying gymnastics that quickly (and, well, my knee was swollen and stiff by day two)
