I don’t think you are reading too much into it at all. I am certain Simone has retired from gymnastics. But honestly, I think this is just a very strange thing to do. Her body was a work of art as it was.

She's 100% done. You don't get a boob job then fly through the air at high speed because they won't be in the right place by the end of training.

She looks fantastic with them. So many influencers recently have got them done and you can tell it was a botched job due to how uneven they are but this was a top notch job.

It’s part pot luck and part genetics. It’s never a guarantee for any elite athlete that they are going to be able to return to the same level after pregnancy, no matter how much work you put in.

As for breast implants, waiting until you’re done having children isn’t essential but just a preference that some people have.

Well those are a lot to fit on such a small frame. I don't know anything about the safety side of doing gymnastics with implants, but that aside, I tend to think if she did plan to compete again she'd have gone for something a bit smaller.
