And I just noticed both Konnor McClain and Skye Blakely were NOT named to the senior team.

That’s deeply bizarre.

ETA: Based on the scores, it looks like McClain and Blakely both scratched bars and completely bombed floor. But it’s still weird for them to just be left off entirely. Twitter is saying it’s because they didn’t do all four events.

So they took the top 4 from Winter Cup (which were guaranteed spots), top 7 from Camp, everyone eligible to petition (world championship and world cup individual medalists), and…Skinner.

Greaves had a much better showing than at WOGA and Winter Cup.

Curious as to why Blakely and McClain didn’t do all 4.

Malabuyo…I wonder if she got hurt on bars. Either way, girl should have followed Barros out the door. Or save herself for UCLA.

I’d love to see Emily Lee’s beam.

Levi won juniors, though it was a small field. Maybe that move to TCT is working out for her.

It’s pretty cool that Hernandez is AAing, and pretty annoying that every good DTY gets the same score. 9.4 E for everyone!

I am willing to bet that Malabuyo retires from elite before US Classic.

Kayla DiCello is looking like she could be a dark horse for the Olympic team, which we already knew was possible. Looks like she had an UB miss but the rest of the meet was solid.

Looks at Emily Lee’s BB score! 15.10 with a 6.4 D score. I wonder if she could potentially upset the rankings and make a run at +1 for BB?

I wonder where Emily Lee got the additional .2 in D? My guess is she connected the side somi to the split half, added a back tuck after her switch half, or she didn’t get credit for a connection in the winter cup routine. Interesting because she hit her routine decently well at Winter Cup yet scored an entire point higher in execution at camp. She must have had no bobbles: 8.7 e score might as well be a 9.6 e score in this quad!

Yeah, I, too, am dying to see what Emily Lee did on beam. That changes the Olympic specialist discussion big time.

@balabanov11 asked a good question – how did Eaker get a 0.3 neutral deduction on beam?!

You lose 0.3 for behavior violations – attire offenses, talking to the judge while competing, not saluting. I doubt they took deductions like that at a camp. You also lose 0.3 for not getting back on the beam within 30 seconds after a fall. But her 8.1 E-score does NOT look like she had a fall.

It is hard to now without seeing the routine, but I wonder if she got -.3 ND for failure to mount BB in 30 seconds after green light went on?? That seems to be the most likely ND at .3
