Did a turn used to be a requirement on floor? I noticed during Classics that Stassi doesn’t do a turn, and I was surprised by her D score. I checked the code, and lo and behold, it’s not a requirement.

I like Esponda. Her talent is so raw, but gosh she’s got so much of it. I really hope that the development program can work with her and her coaches

Yeah, I’m struggling to figure out Rivera’s 6.95 e score with a fall and that dicey double tuck. Unless they decided it wasn’t a fall, but on a “brush” of her butt on the mat.

Well deep squat = 0,5 + height 0,0/0,3 precision basically = fall, but the 0,3 step on the 1° line + the OOB and the bad double tuck should be much less than the 0,4 of Stassi (that keeps reminding me of WItt and the DDR)

Did any juniors end up doing 2 vaults? I think Rose/Stassi did on day 1, but it’s going to be a bare podium.

I’m not surprised Rose fell on the Hindorff. She’s very slow to sit up out of it.
