I have never been a fan of Black’s gymnastics. I love this routine, however. Whoever said it reminded them of Gracie Kremer was spot on.

It is an affront to pod that her 1st pass will only be worth one tenth more than her second pass next quad.

This choreo is incredible. Don’t hear too many complaints about Black’s acro/leap form, probably because she earned her status as a longtime veteran on an underdog team. Is this what Josc Roberson needs to do to win over the gymnaverse in 8 years? Lol.

Black’s routine checks every artistry box for me.
I would give it 0 artistry deductions. She does everything that the CoP checklist is looking for.

That’s right up there with my favorite FXs of the quad.
I don’t really like the SHHHHHH part, but it fits in with the theme.

Ellie Black’s floor reminds me of Anastassia Bachynska’s 2019 routine. A bit different but done well

I love the choreo. Fabulous. I never would have guessed Black would be one of the very best with artistry on floor over the past 10 years.
