Chiles pulled ahead of Skinner. If McCallum keeps it in the ballpark, she can overtake on night 2. We’ll see if Skinner has the stamina for a 2 day meet.

I’m not complaining if Jordan gets a little overscore bonus with all that Skinner has been getting. Now they had better rain some of that on DiCello and McCallum.

The judging started off tight, then all the sudden the usual massive Trials overscore kicked in.

I just don’t think Grace finishing 4th will be enough to take Skinner’s place. Skinner has showed she is viable enough on other events according to drunk USAG judges and adds enough on Vault on Suni.

I’d rather Skinner get scored appropriately on bars, beam and floor than rely on other gymnasts getting overscores lol.

Can you believe that the USAG judges almost had Skinner and Chiles judged of similar quality?

It is insanity. Though, credit where it is due, Skinner looks miles better than she did two weeks ago.

But she is also apparently carrying a foot injury, think they’ll risk her and Suni on the same team?
