while her releve was never good, she now really shows minimal commitment to fully extending through her toes and just slightly lifts her feet off the beam.

I’m not sure she shows even minimal commitment these day. Aly Freaking Raisman tried harder.

Yes, absolutely. Aimee knew how to address issues and clean everything up, which we haven’t really seen at all this quad from Simone.

But also Simone just did a double double off the beam like it was nothing so maybe who cares? I wish the two approaches could be married.

I’m super pissed about Riley’s bars score. That’s not fair. It’s not fair to compare that score against the international standard. Which they probably will be doing with Skinner and anyone else they consider for the +1.

Yeah, it’ll be disappointing if a dismount, as impressive as it is, gives her the gold when the rest of the routine is lackluster and kind of sloppy.
