The US Leo was actually much prettier than I initially thought last week

It kind of bothers me that some of these leos cost 4-digit numbers. I feel like gymnastics competitions should not be about that.

But I don't know the solution. I'd hate to see FIG make a rule because the rule could be worse than the original problem...

A large part of the cost is down to the custom fit for each gymnast, which is a good thing

China in the puffy coats though it sounds like that arena was hot as hell

Did it even happen if the Chinese don't have puffy coats??

I did not like the US ones in pics, but in the stream, they were really quite lovely.
Egypt wins though. I also think I might really like Bickel's.

It doesn’t look like the air con is very effective. Lots of the gymnasts yesterday had hand held fans and mist sprays

The French one was my favourite. I hope Romania have a white version of theirs but I did like the black one. Italy, Egypt and several others mentioned were nice. Gb was nice and sporty and matched the mens. Good choice for qual. Too much vomit crystal on the USA one and I'm not a fan of super shiny pants.

The U.S. leo from prelims was even worse in person. It was literally nothing but sparkles. I think I liked Romania, France, and Australia the most.

There comes a point with the sparkles where I don't know why they bother with designs. You can't make anything out in all the reflection.
