The US are slightly over 2 points ahead of GB in 2nd. They could both have squeezed a few tenths more out of that rotation but you know, fine. The way it’s been going tonight, 3 hit routines feels like a victory.

Yeah I had 8.3 for Shilese and 8.0 for Wong. Especially with that dismount.

Doesn’t look good for Shilese in EF because she really hit all her handstands. She was just very close on the Downie and it fucked up her pak. Maybe it looked worse from the side angle the judges are sitting at.

Now. GBR to beam…

Underscored on bars two days in a row. Or, at least underscored relative to the high 7s the judges are handing out to routines with barely half the swing, rhythm, amplitude, and confidence that Shilese has. She isn’t being properly rewarded on bars this meet.
