I wonder what’s the deal with Grace. As of a few months ago, I was certain she’d be on the team. She may still be, but it looks like Wong is making a better case for herself. Has she been injured?

I’m glad we aren’t sure who will get the 4th spot and one of the +1 spots.

Barring major injury or meltdown I see Biles, Lee, Chiles on the team and Carey has hers.

So I’m thinking for Trials we’ll see Wong, Malabuyo, McCallum, Blakely, DiCello, Skinner, McCusker. I’m missing somebody.

Nobody outside of Biles, Suni, Chiles, Malabuyo broke 56 AA on either day. Those were the only four.

Also Chiles was 4th UB, 4th BB, 4th FX for EF.

I’m not trying to figure out VT.

Y’all, Skinner came in 9th overall on UB. If that doesn’t say something…

I wonder if it was the different brand of bars.

Hope Grace can get bars and FX dialed in, I’d rather have her than one of the GAGE girls or Texas Nightmares…

Sorry my bad!!

I’m sure Top 12 + Riley, Laurie, Morgan and Chellsie will get invited.

It looks like Simone will do all four events so far for the team finals unless someone is better at UE.

So if you put Simone, Suni, and Jordan all on the same team, the obvious gap is a 3rd vault. Does the highest scoring team just using nationals scores include those three and one of Jones or gasp Skinner???

DAY 2 SCORES ONLY (swiped from gymternet)
Today’s AA Ranking

1 Simone Biles 60.100
2 Sunisa Lee 57.600
3 Jordan Chiles 57.550
4 Emma Malabuyo 56.000
5 Skye Blakely 55.700
6 MyKayla Skinner 55.300
7 Grace McCallum 55.250
8 Leanne Wong 54.850
9 Kayla DiCello 54.550
10 Emily Lee 54.550
11 Kara Eaker 54.500
12 Shilese Jones 54.400

Or take someone who can decently vault AND do floor? And Skinner has been getting absolutely hammered on floor.

She got 4th on FX Day 2.

No doubt she will be arguing her place in Tokyo as she came “top 4” at Nationals an WON VAULT!
