The fact that the mat color prevents gymnasts from seeing the beam is a problem for me.

Someone said they thought Suni took out her layout mount because of this.

Which color is the problem? The podium floor being cyan or the mats under the equipment being white? Because the mats have been white at every competition using Gymnova equipment for decades. 2022 Worlds just had all the exact same mats with the same white tops.

2006 Worlds, 2009 Worlds, 2012 Olympics, 2015 Worlds, 2016 Olympics, 2017 Worlds, 2018 Worlds.. All the same white top mats.

It's not just the white mats, it's the combination of that and the lights.

And yes, I know it's been that way before, but it should stop if the gymnasts are complaining about it.

I like the Romanian leo but I wonder if there's a version in white. It would be such a classically Romanian leo if it was white instead of black.
