I hate buckeye so much

It wasn’t Buckeye per say, blame Christian Gallardo

@Denn Sorry but do you really think they will put Roberson on the World Team over Blakely?
Skye was 2nd on bars and beam.
Roberson was 7th on floor and her Cheng is only going .2-.3 over Blakely’s DTY

The US seems to have a few who don’t do UB at the moment. Based on this week I’d be inclined to want all of Roberson, Lincoln and Sumanasekera to go with one of the teams. Maybe with Pan Ams being a lower priority they just take the chance of scoring an 11 or 12 (or 9) there.

Suni still has a place on this team if she shows up big at selection camp. I wouldn’t put it past her to suddenly do a mid 14’s UB, and she already showed a mid-14 BB routine. If Shilese doesn’t keep scoring like she did today on BB, then I would put Suni on the team for that event alone if she delivers at camp.

Its not like Kittia did anything with Shilese at Buckeye. Of all the gymnastics clubs in the country, you go to Buckeye? Such an nonsensical move. And then wasting so many years following Christian. I get mad just thinking about it.

Okay, so Jordan missed the release but got it the second time and the rest of the routine was…routine. I guess the fall off BB is the bigger issue to me. I’m rooting for her to have a fab camp and make the team but if she doesn’t go to Worlds, she can be team leader for Pan Ams.

Kittia couldn’t since Gallardo had his grip on Jones. That was evident as Jones followed Gallardo to his own gym once he opened it up.

Gallardo is/was cancerous and a horrible coach

There were rumors that Christian was in a relationship with his very high profile athlete, yes. But only rumors.
