Anca Grigoras in 1976 - rather underated for a) being older and b) not being a Karolyi gymnast in the Nadia age

It's been a while since I've watched Grigoras on beam. That was nice, very easy, smooth way of working.

Even Retton's back tucks look labored.

Maria Filatova in 1977 (extra points for the bows)

In my opinion Filatova set the gold standard for wolf turns. It still takes my breath away every time I see it. That slow, steady split she does out of it. Everything down to the position of her hands is gorgeous. Back in the MySpace days, I made an animation of it that I embedded onto my page.
