You all need to follow Zeynab Javadli. The content, given the backstory, is absolutely wild. https://www.instagram.com/zeynabismyname?igsh=OXFlYjdrZ25ubWcw

[Zeynab is from Azerbaijan, but grew up in Moscow where she trained under Irina Viner. She is a 2007 and 2009 world medalist. She was married to Sheikh Saeed bin Makhtoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the nephew of Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed. Sheikh Saeed is a 4 time Olympian in shooting, so that’s reassuring. No, I’ve no idea how they fit his name on broadcast graphics. In 2022, she asked the UN human rights council to intervene over the custody of their 3 daughters of whom Dubai law states she has no parental rights over. She is currently unable to leave Dubai]

Not really social media, but Brad Meltzer, who has a children's book series "I Am...", just announced his next book in the series will be Simone. He revealed it on the popular DC101 morning radio show while promoting his most recent book, "I Am The Beatles."

She announced she was taking some time off earlier this year or late last year to deal with some health issues. IIRC, she was dealing with chronic fatigue that doctors couldn't find an explanation for. Hopefully she's been able to get that sorted, and I hope she enjoys the next phase of her life, whatever it happens to entail.

I recently rewatched the 2022 Euros TF, and I'm just gonna leave this little highlight here to celebrate her career:
