Big shock at the top of the AA standings.

Chiba Kenta 85.799
Kaya Kazuma 85.598
Hashimoto Daiki 85.432

Hashimoto out.

Admin ETA: Japanese coaches later said they will put him into the final anyway.

Ah okay, I was watching 3 events at once lol

He looked like he wasn’t sure whether to remount or salute at the end of the routine. Maybe he knew how close it was gonna be and was in shock

There’s a break now before the next subdivision at 4pm local time.

I think that will be enough for Turkey to qualify for Paris. Everyone except Kazakhstan has a score that would have made the team final last year, so it looks like the cut off will be higher this time. Those four tenths between 4th and 7th might end up being very important.

On the individual Paris qualification front, top AAers excluding Japan and GB are currently:

Karimi (Kazakhstan) 83.232
Dolgopyat (Israel) 82.999
Asil (Turkey) 82.630
Artur Davtyan (Armenia) 82.032
Kovtun (Ukraine) 81.931
Soares (Brazil) 81.064
van den Keybus (Belgium) 80.798
Tikhonov (Azerbaijan) 80.630

A lot of this is fairly useless until we have a better idea of team qualification, but I think Karimi and Dolgopyat can probably be pencilled in for individual spots.

While I am glad he can defend his title, it is funny that they agreed to it beforehand

I missed sub 2, but back for this one. Just in time for Khoi Young to put up a great routine on PH. This final is going to be GOOD.

ha! I know very little about MAG but a 15 is good
