This takes place from Wednesday to Saturday this week. Don’t know about streaming but there must have been some sort of video last year because this was where the Russian “Z” incident happened.

The most notable news from the registrations is probably the appearance of Team China. They’ve also registered for Baku, so hopefully Covid is no longer impacting their travel.

Are the us not sending anyone to world cup so far this year?

It would be a shame, given that Chellsie and Alicia have spoken of the importance of more international assignments. Cottbus obviously clashed with the Winter Cup, but not sending anyone to Qatar or Baku is a mistake imo. Yes, the NCAA athletes are unavailable until June, but it would have been a good opportunity to get some first year seniors in front of international judges

My guess is they’re going to DTB and Jesolo because they can take more gymansts than they can for a world cup meet.

DTB judging is usually spot on, but Jesolo isn’t a serious competition and the scoring reflects that

I totally agree. IMHO Jessolo panders the scores to encourage the US to send people and doesn’t give a true reflection of an international score. It’s no accident that the lists of highest scores of the year always includes a disproportionate number of Jessolo and ‘team camp/ qualifier’ type scores.
