The athletes are in the back, so the time is being spent on them, not on the decision at this point.Am I the only person frantically clicking refresh to see if the full results with second vault scores have posted yet?
And what is taking so long? The team is so obvious!
It's hard for anyone without credentials to get into the Village. People have done it, but it's highly secured. Simone would likely need to go elsewhere for such extracurricular activities.Well, I was questioning whether the Olympic Village allowed such "visits". But then, I remembered those articles about the massive supply of umm, a specific item at the Olympics, so well...
it doesn’t automatically exclude you from travelling to France, but it’s a separate applicationIt shouldn't. No
Well, I remember the U.S. used to keep the gymnasts sequestered away from family. Perhaps those rules have softened.Well, I was questioning whether the Olympic Village allowed such "visits". Didn't they house the team in a hotel outside the athletes village in 2000?Well, I remember the U.S. used to keep the gymnasts sequestered away from family. Perhaps those rules have softened.
I do not think that is correct MC.If she served jail time she won’t be able to as a general tourist.
Second overall tonight, apparently.Did Wong finish 3° overall on night 2?

Yes, but the USOPC no longer pays for accomodations outside the village. Gymnasts have been in the village since 2004.Didn't they house the team in a hotel outside the athletes village in 2000?
ah, right. It kinda dawned on me after I posted. It's hard for anyone without credentials to get into the Village. People have done it, but it's highly secured. Simone would likely need to go elsewhere for such extracurricular activities.
They definitely have. It was different when the teams were mostly teenagersWell, I remember the U.S. used to keep the gymnasts sequestered away from family. Perhaps those rules have softened.
Looks like it. Simone 1st and Hezly 2nd.Did Wong finish 3° overall on night 2?
That doesn't contradict my pointShe didn’t “make a mistake”, she made a choice.
