Honestly loved this final and these results. I wish Jade could express her music, but that’s partly on her choreographer. We had seven fantastic artistic routines to go with it, and I love these results.

I feel bad for Listunova. She’s 8th by far and away from the rest of the competition. Hard to go first, mess up, and then everybody else does amazing.

Jade was the clear winner here as far as I can see, there doesn’t seem any code based argument against that. And it’s nice to see her get redemption after yesterday, which must have been heartbreaking. It’s a shame though that for the second time in three Olympics, we have a champion who’s next level at tumbling but whose choreo and presentation is really lacking, and there hasn’t really been anyone else who is capable of passing them. I know Andrade could do it on paper, but she’s an inherently bouncy lander.
