I’ve decided that it’s the yellow stars that bug me about US’s qualifications leo. It makes it look more Romanian than American.

The stars is a throwback to 1996.

And that was a weird choice, too, although 96’s looks closer to gold than yellow. Stars aren’t the problem. Just the fourth color.

Well, it’s still a miss to me. I liked the 2016 leotards a lot more.

I did read that the leotards were Mag 7 inspired since it is their 25th anniversary.

I agree about the stars looking Romanian or Spanish or like some other country. I didn’t like that, and I didn’t care for the leo. The one Jade and Myk wore was better, but nothing special.

I actually really like the main US team’s leo today. I thought it was nice to have solid cut- no designed belt look or separation of the bust area from the rest of the leo stylistically. I thought it was lovely and simple.

I think the one Carey and Skinner wore in qualifications was inspired by the one Dawes is wearing.

I would have liked it if it didn’t have the bling; excessive bling; get rid of the bling.

Navy leotards for team events are officially cursed. Especially for your plucky former headcases who become the team rocks.
