I don't see a problem with putting Jade up on bars in prelims. The lack of a backup for finals is the real issue.

The selection procedures are explicit about picking the team for the 5-4-3 format. Hezly fits the prelims format for UB/BB.

Suni is also the only other hope for an AA medal, which means she is going to vault in prelims. Jordan has been outscoring Josc with both vaults. It makes no sense to take Josc for what is essentially a beam specialist.
