If e scoring was more accurate I’d argue Rebeca could win with her cheng and a dty. As it stands, i hope the amanar works for her. And i hope the cheng scoring is a little less ridiculous than in aa

Agreed. Andrade should run away with this if she hits, even with the DTY , but the way they have been scoring Her execution advantage is only about 0.3-0.4. If she does do the Amanar she should get gold without a doubt!

Samesies, and then some. The technique wasn’t perfect in 2019, but it was acceptable. She wasn’t doing a total cartwheely cheat entry. Now it isn’t. I obviously see why she upgraded, but frankly I miss her 2017 pairing.

We already knew vault D panels bunch of course, that wasn’t news, but the failure to differentiate the Chengs in the AA left a particularly bad taste in the mouth.

Andrade has superior execution, so I hope she can pull off two great vaults and take gold.
and FIG needs to figure out how to score VT fairly. A chucked Cheng shouldn’t be within .5 in E as one of Andrade’s calibre, IMO.

Sad but expected from Simone. Add me to the “please get it named at a world cup” group. I definitely want Andrade to win now. The Cheng scoring will be very interesting to compare. Skinner’s next vlog will have a very different tone to the last!

I wish Adlerteg was getting into UB. It would be such a big deal for Swedish gymnastics and I really like her routine.

PH interlude…looking at the start order it seems they didn’t really break the 2nd place tie between Rhys and Kameyama. They’ve put them 7th/8th in the order respectively when 3rd was meant to go 1st and the 2nd qualifier last. That means Max will start the final as the 5th place qualifier who was meant to go 2nd.

I think Max could hit his difficult routine and come 4th at this rate. I want Rhys to win anyway.
