Yeesh. I hope Sydney has taught the coaches to speak up if it isn’t right and they can bring in another one. There is no gold medal for powering through broken/wrong equipment!

I’m also happy they were smart enough to ditch Listunova’s Silivas but that 2.5 punch front is going to bring her grief. They should just let her ditch the punch and just do a leap and call it a day.

The good news (for now) is that the springboard doesn’t seem to be affecting Yurchenko or 1/2 on vaults. The majority of problems have been on FHS or Tsuk entry.
