U.S. men’s program announces roster for 2025 Senior Pan American Championships, World University Games
May 7, 2025INDIANAPOLIS, Ind (May 7, 2025) – Featuring an Olympic medalist and several World Cup medalists, the men’s artistic rosters that will compete at the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships and 2025 World University Games have been announced by USA Gymnastics.
Senior Pan American Championships
2024 Paris Olympic team bronze medalist Asher Hong leads a five-athlete roster set to compete at the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships June 12-15 in Panama City, Panama.He will be joined by 2025 Baku World Cup pommel horse champion Brandon Dang, 2025 Antalya World Cup floor exercise champion Taylor Burkhart, 2025 DTB Pokal team silver medalist Taylor Christopulos and 2024 Winter Cup floor exercise silver medalist Joshua Karnes. 2025 Osijek World Cup floor silver medalist Junnosuke Iwai will be in Panama as a traveling replacement athlete.
More information about the 2025 Senior Pan American Championships will become available on the FIG website in the coming weeks.
World University Games
Five more Americans will represent the country in July at the 2025 FISU World University Games July 22-26 in Essen, Germany.Slated for Germany are two-time 2025 World Cup medalist Patrick Hoopes, 2025 DTB Mixed Cup team champion Alex Nitache, 2025 DTB Pokal team silver medalist Kai Uemura, 2025 Winter Cup parallel bars champion Colt Walker, and Tate Costa, who will make his international debut.
Artistic gymnastics competition will run across five days and all information about the Games can be found on the competition website.
