I’d be wondering whether I should evaluate it as a Switch Ring or as a Switch Leap. I think E Panel evaluate the intended element, right?
Yes - for example, if the foot is below the crown of the head you would deduct 0.1 when the foot is at head height or 0.3 when the foot is at shoulder height.

Most of the USA team will have zero international experience due to covid and a lot of those that do have that experience are in college now.
Same with every team really. I think it will take a while for the stars to emerge as they get that experience.

Those scores aren’t horrible either compared to what we have seen.

Even if Russia returns for Worlds (which not sure they can have a full team this year if they don’t attend Europeans) they won’t have any major competition this year, so could be rusty.

McClain is definitely a potential superstar in the making, she just needs a bit more experience and confidence.

They’re supposed to yeah. I agree though, you could argue for either.

@irichluck21 as I understand it, no team can qualify a full team for 2022 worlds if they aren’t at the relevant continental competition, which for Russia of course is Euros this summer. Athletes who’ve attended the world cup series can qualify as individuals, but I have no idea whether that would be possible for Listunova etc if Russia missed Euros but were unbanned for worlds,

Yes, any qualified athletes would be able to compete individually at worlds if Russia is no longer banned. However that is dependent on getting visas too. I would not be surprised to see a situation where the FIG permits individual athletes to compete under the FIG flag, but getting visas is the bigger issue.

This was Djokovic’s issue. But of course, for a different underlying reason.

Please don’t bring djokovic into this i can’t take any more drama side-threads. At least the leotard people seem to have been finally satisfied by the latest us leos, so there’s that to thank pod for

double layout
(body posture on landing / chest forward and low) 0.1
(hop on landing) 0.1

front tuck stepout
(bent knee) 0.1

tucked full-in
(flexed feet) 0.1
(leg separation) 0.1
(insufficient height) 0.1 ^
(body posture on landing / chest forward and low) 0.1
I feel like the chest down on the 2nd pass is more egregious than the DLO, how come they both get -0.1?

It definitely was. However, the head needs to be at the level of the knees for the deduction to increase from 0.1 to 0.3 (Andreoli’s head is at around hip height).

No, nobody’s allowed to say anything negative, i can’t take anymore drama. From now on when posting score breakdowns everyone will rewrite deductions in a positive light, like: “perfect 60° knee shaped giant” or “creative one leg choreography after landing”

I shall henceforth describe multi-fall routines with “bless her heart, she tried her best!”
I work with one of the nicest person I have ever met but not great at his job. When we speak of him , we always say bless his heart
