D’Amato’s injury is confirmed to be a torn ACL. How awful for her to have her season end by injury 3 years in a row.
Where is it confirmed? I have been waiting to hear anything, hoping it is minor.
How horrible for her and she is going to miss out on Paris.

Juniors
France won the team title, followed by Italy and Belgium. Hopefully showing that Belgium will rebound from not qualifying a team to Paris. 4th was Germany, 5th Great Britain, 6th Switzerland (good news for them), 7th Ukraine, 8th Romania.

Elena Colas of France won AA gold, teammate Maiana Prat won bronze. Giulia Perotti of Italy won silver. Her teammates finished 4th and (5th).

Side note: Great to see Kosovo sending full teams for both seniors and juniors. While there is still a lot of work to do, it is great that a small developing gymnastics country is putting out (And supporting) full teams.

Actually, it was Portugal and not Spain... And only if thé French fédération did not allow their coach on the floor which is not the case anymore. Hopefully Nemour's situation will help the fédération to take the right decisions too! Perla Denechere, qualified in beam and floor finals is also from the same gym.

Congratulations to our girls who did an amazing job! That's a historic finish for France, after 2nd place in 2008 with Dufournet and 3rd place in 1993 with Élodie Lussac.
Of course, congratulations to Elena!! I Hope it's only the beginning for her.

So they were really going to throw her a big score if she didn't have those balance breaks...

it took me about a full minute into the video to understand the music was, in fact, her music and not just a weird by-product of recording a screen or something. Artistry!

Her bars are stunning I hope to see much more of her.

They seem to have decided to take her in the standard Romanian direction of being a BB/FX specialist.

I had assumed that she fell on ub as she scored only 11.3 - but she didn't - although her full turn attempt was pretty bad and perhaps not credited

Then her vaulting has really regressed - especially the dty - last year she came 4th in vt EF (up last for team Rom)

I hadn't clocked the FTY. We've not seen her vault for a while, since she ran into the table at worlds. But maybe that was an indication of her not being comfortable with the double in competition any more.
