So Wong and Carey are tied for the highest score on beam, Jones and Chiles have to do it for AA in qualifying, but Blakely has the highest potential if she hits.

5.2 to 5.5 for Disidore on beam. I had a 4.1 and @Yarotska had a 4.6.

I wonder if there was a “pity stop” when it got to halfway from ten.

I was just going to write this same thing. Could they leave Carey out in qualifying but put her up in team final? She is a strong steady score for the team but not medal potential like Wong and Blakely if they hit.

Carey on beam 6.8 all the way to 7.6…

I had 6.6 and @Yarotska had 6.8

7.6 is far far far too high for a Brevet judge to be throwing out. Awful.

Cheryl was the 6.8 and Kitia was the 7.6…

They could, if there is a beam meltdown in TQ, Carey could step in for team finals. Wouldn’t be the first time USAG did this.
