Where’s your other tenth? Your first comment only explains 2 out of 3 tenths.

She got a 5.3, no?

I credited the full 5.6 first time watching. Did you have 5.4 or 5.6?

Turn A
Free walkover + sj + straddle DBB .2
FF + loso + loso BCC .2
ssl C
ssl 1/2 D
Split leap B
FC D
Johnson C
split jump 1/2 crossways D
FF + bhs + DT BBD .1
DDDCDDCC 2.9 + 2.0 + .5 = 5.4

I am also confused…

I guess they must’ve given her the switch leap + switch 1/2 combo (for dance series) and then they didn’t think she connected the split jump out of the free walkover. The split leap + free cartwheel definitely didn’t get credit imo

Carey had a 5.4 according to the results here:

I would have given a 5.4 based on my first viewing, but I don’t think a 5.6 is unreasonable either. I’m not saying this to give myself a free pass, but given how these things sometimes really are judgment/borderline calls, I think it’s more helpful for people to see that than to be given a definitive number, especially when even some of the FIG WTC examples seem to contradict each other.

Whoops! Must have been transcribed incorrectly. Thanks for spotting it!

You’re giving 5.4 but for different reason?

I guess we will never know ha! But consensus is 5.4 so i’m outvoted ha!

Upon further investigation, I actually do think the split leap + free cartwheel just barely gets credit, based on this video:

So I agree with Concorde that they likely did not give the connection out of the free walkover. I guess I’m a little surprised the switch leap + switch 1/2 got credit, but these are very borderline calls
