** Denotes regional host*
The top two teams from each regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships. In addition, the top all-around competitor and top event specialist from round two at each regional (who is not on a team advancing to nationals) will advance to the national championships. Event specialist qualifiers will only compete in the events they qualified.;
NOTE: The individuals listed above also include individuals from play in teams, when one team does not advance, those individuals listed will compete in the regional semi-finals for a chance to make nationals as an individual. So if Arizona is eliminated the Arizona gymnasts who have NQS to qualify as an individual will continue the next day, either in AA or individual event.
We won’t know who qualifies to nationals as individuals because it is the top AA, and one on each event, from teams that do not qualify. So you could be leading that event after day 2 but after the regional final, you are out because now a team did not qualify.
Like in 2019 when Florida fell apart at regionals and Denver and Oregon State passed Florida.
Florida then swept the individual competitors due to their dominating performance in regional semi-finals.
Boren qualified for the AA
Thomas qualified for UB and FX
Baumann qualified for BB
Schoenherr qualified for VT
