How universally are those ‘line’ judges dispatched to just wait around for OOB to happen… that job seems too easy, maybe they can take on artistry too

Right! And line judges are usually just as qualified as E Panel. They just got the short straw in the judges lots.

Would 100% be fine with moving the whole of the artistry function to the two line judges and relieving pressure on the E Panel.

The silver lining is they get to enjoy the performance without having to worry about catching deductions/crediting skills aside from the boundaries.

And they could get rid of the line judges if they got that birds eye thing that tennis uses…
