i doubt its the case thats the reason

they still havent released the tokyo 2020 book.

in fact, i dont think the FIG ever release any detailed books. they always come from a leak, i believe

Also, can we admit floor music is highly personal? Some is like nails on a chalkboard but the gymnast must like it enough to hear it every day. Even your favorite fx ever, you'll find someone who hated the music, thought it was background noise, or didn't fit the dance or whatever. And, Simone's music was hardly the "worst."
