Beam has been a bit underwhelming thus far, with Charpy being the only athlete to get into the 13s, and into the 8s on execution.

E-scores in general are lower than I expected, with 7s being the norm. Is this a reflection of the new code, or people's current state of preparation?

She's in 1st on floor though, 13.633. That routine is pretty competitive and she's a legitimate contender for the final at worlds.



Beam is looking much, much shitter than floor, which is interesting considering how many strong routines we've seen on the event this year already. And yy @phoenix7, Voinea's year isn't getting any better.

Yes good for her hitting a routine after the disaster on bb and missing out on vt. Don't like the routine very much because of the lack of choreo/connection to the music

It will be interesting to see how Melnikova goes in bb final having qualified first .... a pity that she came off ub - but still is a reserve for the final.
