I don’t think we are able to remove the “heart” as it is the default with the forum software. I think we could have a “like” and a “love”… or a “like” and a “love” and a “100% agree”?
I don’t wan tto remove the heart. I want to replace the 100% icon with a thumbs up icon. That’s probably just swapping a couple images on the server, right?

It would be nice to have both if it’s possible. I think 100%, thumbs up and heart are all different and 100% is getting more use in the quick fire conversations that tend to happen during a major competition.

Depends…

It’s easy if you want to leave “heart = like”. Then “thumbs up = agree”…

If you want to change the heart to “love” and make the thumbs up “like”… then it would take a little bit more work… but it should still be possible.

😲

The problem is that it will get cluttered on mobile… let me test real quick.

Ok… it wraps everything nicely… so there could be a couple more…

That looks really good.

If it allows you to change the word “like” to “love” that would be cool (and I don’t even think we need the word “like” since “agree” covers it). So would be deleting the words entirely. if neither, then leaving it as is is fine, really.

A shocked/surprised icon is cool with me. Up to you, Justin.

Well if we are going to hunt through our keyboards for one emoji 😮 why not all of them. Or at least provide more diversity in reactions instead of two that are as close as like and love?

I can add the surprised icon too.

In the words of Tim Daggett: Tremendous.

GIFs were freezing and unresponsive but whoop-de-doo.

The lack of pagination is brutal. I’m on desktop and any thread > 10-20 posts is unbearable. IF the additional posts load fast enough for me to wait around, I often receive an error and am forced to quit, or am diverted back to an earlier set of posts if/when I make it to the bottom portion of a discussion and have to scroll back down over and over.

Pagination would a) speed up load times, b) make reading long threads manageable, c) provide a much easier way of referencing posts to quote/respond to, etc. Users could easily reference “this was discussed on Page 3” during the discussion, and this type of format is compatible with driving users to their most recently read post within a thread, etc.

I’d normally post several times per day during a Worlds, for ex, but can only even read the last ~12 posts in the WAG TF thread because the script kept running and loading all posts before dropping me off at the very end - which is actually better than trying to wait for each batch to load, but neither is even okay, let alone ideal.

🙂

Ok… so basically the scrolling is not working… correct?

Can you try scrolling at this link and tell me if it works better…

The scrolling can get a bit jumpy if it is a long thread and you are trying to go back a bit. I know I wanted to go see some previous post i had made and I was able to scroll up to it, but the posts load in batches.

I didn’t mind the endless scroll for catching up on US trials since I didn’t have the stream and I had another event at the time. That said, the ability to have endless scroll or pagination would be cool if the software supports it. I know another forum I use has the option for multiple pages (with the ability to choose how many posts on each page: 25, 50, 100, 200, 500 etc) or all comments on one page. (I set the number of posts to 500 or 750 or something so it is essentially endless scroll, unless the conversation gets super crazy)

How does that link above scroll for you?
