I lied! Navarro at UW has a 1 1/2 on vault

Wow, I said beam judges were generous today and that 9.775 illustrates it.

Hell of a turnaround for Denver. I don't know how much they benefitted from softer scoring on their last two events (I can't see the broadcast), but I didn't see this coming after two.

Denver 197.275, ASU 197.150, UCLA 197.050. UCLA out!

The UCLA coaches should be ashamed of the way this season went. I’m willing to give Janelle another chance, but the Grables clearly do not have the goods and need to go.

Malabuyo went 9.775 on beam it won't be enough as individual.

I have a hard time seeing Georgia upset either Florida or Missouri in the next regional semi-final, but I could see Stanford advancing in the later Cal session tonight.

IDK UCLA just had an off meet and ASU was on fire.

Every single meet this season was an off meet except for three. They had terrible routine construction, inconsistency with lineups, rested gymnasts at the worst possible times (many times when it was past the time), and vault is STILL an issue. It’s been unbelievably frustrating.

Vault scoring was tight, while floor scoring was wild. Denver started on vault so had to wait all day to get to crazytown scores.

I don't know about the assistants, but I wouldn't be willing to axe Janelle yet. We only have two data points on her as head coach, and they were down 2.5 key athletes this season. I don't know if she can right the ship, but I don't see a compelling argument for ousting her at this point.
