At least it wasn’t Utah. The scoring the final rotation was crazy. How were all of those Utah vaults breaking 9.9 with steps and hops? Why was Cal so lowballed on bars?

If you compare the BB scores in the Semis, LSU's are too high relative to Cal. And again in Finals. Cal also got the short end of the stick on UB compared to LSU.

I agree they were overscored on beam in a vacuum but not relative to the rest of the meet. Look at the Florida beam routines that were scoring similarly.

Again, I still think LSU deserved the win. I just don't think they needed to be propped up like that. It reminds me of 2018 NCAA nationals.
