I'd love to have one (or more!) of our resident judges score Bullock's bars. I swear every single handstand has an angle deduction, and given the number of handstands she does, that's gonna add up fast.

Coming in with a 6.0 UB routine is a good move from Bullock's camp. We were just talking about USA WAG's UB deficiency. She clearly needs refinement to not lose 2 points in E-score but if she can get those handstands right, she can consistently score high 14s, that may put her into the A-tier when she's a senior.

This has always completely baffled me. Everything else in WAG has been nickle and dimed to death, yet egregiously hideous casts get waved though without comment? It’s so bizarre.

You know it's the upside down world when this is the one skill that's actually deducted more harshly in NCAA gymnastics. (I mean, -0.05 is nothing in elite, but in relative terms for the score and all that).

I had a 7.8 E. I got there a slightly different way. I didn't take 3 for leg sep on the dismount. But I took a couple more feet and some other misc deductions.
