Andrade looks great! Although her splits (the split jump 1/2 crossways, Gogean, switch 1/1) seem worse here in competition than they have in training. Maybe it’s just me thinking this

Good for him, but, to be fair — all 4 of the US guys would have secured that spot if all of the others were missing. There was very little competition except Brazil, and they secured the other spot anyway.

So glad for Andrade. It was a huge blow-out, too. This would have tied for 3rd in the US, behind Biles and (Suni) Lee, and actually, given that FIG scoring tends to be stricter than US scoring, maybe she would have beaten Suni!
