She's 'definitely' aiming for LA, and planned the baby this year because it was her aspiration to have a kid then come back. Doesn't know what she wants her first competition back to be, and is leaving it up in the air. She sounds very determined to return, but not committed to any set timeframe beyond the next Olympics.

She hasn't. I believe she's announced she's taking a bit of a break, but she hasn't made any concrete statements about either continuing to compete or retiring.

Can't blame her--is this the first break she's taken since before Tokyo? I genuinely don't know how she did it.
