Especially excited for Alice - she’s been the hard working mainstay of team GP for so long now - it’s lovely seeing her launching into new adventures (although I wouldn’t be surprised to see her back one day).

@Ms Motts Alice said on Twitter that she isn't retiring. Coming back after a baby is a big undertaking, of course, but for an Olympic athlete she's timed this beautifully. Maximum time left before LA!

We never thought she was until they entered her for every comp under the sun as a red herring. And she can absolutely come back after a baby. She has always been very into her gym fitness and not just for gymnastics. She is very focused and works very hard on her fitness. Her body will not suddenly explode after having a baby.

Yeah, Alice’s out of gym fitness regime since she was 18 or so is what shot her to the top of British gymnastics and sets her apart from many of the other gb gymnasts

This is one of the reasons I tell my nonprofit clients to avoid Venmo. Way too easy for someone to impersonate the organization. However, I am giving serious side-eye to the Booster Club. How did they miss that someone didn't pay dues and fees for nearly 3 years?

Kinda rancid to call out the gymnast unless she is implicated in the crimes. Like the girl doesn't have enough shit to deal with, especially if mom has a gambling addiction in addition to being a thief.

Poor Lily. I just wish that whoever decided to drag this to light would have waited the three weeks until NCAAs were over. This apparently happened over a year ago and was reported in some tiny newspaper that no one would have seen. It absolutely could have waited until the off-season to give Lily more privacy.
