Yes, I am aware. That’s why it felt like a weird comment to make. It’s setting him apart because of his hair and drawing attention to it. Like he isn’t allowed to just exist. Then people will get defensive about it, because they are saying something positive. When probably they should be saying nothing at all. There’s a term for it, I’m sure.

Sorry for being off topic, it was just one of those comments I read and immediately went oh that doesn’t feel right to me.

I think you are being unfair and accusatory about what was likely a fairly benign and innocent comment.
 
Khoi plans to compete at US Nationals. He will likely have to go through the Men's National Qualifier this summer. Not sure if he will add other events back - he had a knee issue.

He could still make L.A. as a specialist, assuming the team is chosen the same way as 2024. These PH specialists can get such high scores that they end up on the team even if they only do one event. Hopefully, he will do more.

He plans to continue training at Stanford for the foreseeable future.
