I wonder if Angelenos still call it Staples Center like Capital One Arena is still MCI or Verizon Center to some here.
Calling in MCI Center is a sign that you're old school DC!

Funny aside, the Capitals practice complex in Arlington is Medstar Capitals Iceplex, or MCI for short. Even after several years, I still get confused when I see references to MCI.
 
I'm from the Chicago area and it will be Comiskey Park til I die (it helps that I never hear whatever the new name is as I am no longer local and I don't watch baseball).

I've now fallen down a rabbit hole and discovered that an AEG affiliate also had a share in the company that managed the Sydney SuperDome, which means they've sort-of done three...
 
I predict US WAG will get 4 or 5 gold in LA 2028: team, individual all around, vault and floor.

Chinese/European will take the balance beam gold
 
tbh I don't have high expectations for China...it's a shame because I'm a huge Chinese gymnastics fan but I think they'll end up with little to no golds like in 2016
