I wonder if Angelenos still call it Staples Center like Capital One Arena is still MCI or Verizon Center to some here.
Calling in MCI Center is a sign that you're old school DC!

Funny aside, the Capitals practice complex in Arlington is Medstar Capitals Iceplex, or MCI for short. Even after several years, I still get confused when I see references to MCI.

I'm from the Chicago area and it will be Comiskey Park til I die (it helps that I never hear whatever the new name is as I am no longer local and I don't watch baseball).

Be glad you don’t watch baseball; what has happened in Comiskey Park over the last 6 months is something no human should have been subjected to 😖

The "Crypto.com Arena" is owned by the same people as the O2 in London, making AEG the first private company to own two Olympic artistic gymnastics venues.

I've now fallen down a rabbit hole and discovered that an AEG affiliate also had a share in the company that managed the Sydney SuperDome, which means they've sort-of done three...

I predict US WAG will get 4 or 5 gold in LA 2028: team, individual all around, vault and floor.
Maybe UB
Chinese/European will take the balance beam gold

tbh I don't have high expectations for China...it's a shame because I'm a huge Chinese gymnastics fan but I think they'll end up with little to no golds like in 2016

CHINA WAG? Maybe (if they don’t win BB they will do not obtain gold)

China MAG will obtain at least 3 golds

According to teads.com , 643 million people watched the women’s gymnastics individual all-around final at Olympic 2020. Is this number accurate? It is too huge, can compare to any World Cup football matches.

My prediction is that Mary Lou Retton gets media exposure because of the Olympics being in Los Angeles. Then a bunch of gymnasts complain because of how she acted in 2017. Then media outlets pretend they never promoted her in the first place.

I predict a team that we haven't seen qualify a full team in a while will make it to LA.
Mexico, Hungary are up there as are Philippines (if the US NCAA gymnasts continue).
