The first poster (Ale - see the post below) pointed out an incident that allegedly happened sometimes earlier this year, and the affected gymnast then retired. GYMeme reposted it and mentioned a gymnast who retired unexpectedly this year (it seems Marcela Cercea was born 2009 so first year senior, not junior anymore).
ETA: GYMeme is probably #1 social media source (Twitter and Youtube) regarding Romanian gymnastics.

That's how I understand these posts. When I saw it first I didn't pay much attention, but then GYMeme reposted it and mentioned the potential victim's name

The Cercea incident is true, actual Romanian gymternet members with connections to the team were talking about it earlier this year.

Anamaria Mihaescu also filed a complaint against Sabrina & Camelia, as did the team's physiotherapist.

The Voineas do not allow Denisa & Anamaria tu use equipment at Lia Manoliu Bucuresti purchased by Petrom (a sponsor of Tara Tara Vrem Campioane, the organization started by Bellu & Bitang in 2014 to support the promising 2005-08 girls for Paris), as neither Golgota (2002) or Mihaescu (2009) are part of TTVC.

This is the same family who cyberbullied Andreea Preda & threatened FRG to not go to 2023 Euros if Andreea Preda wasn't removed from the bars lineup to let Voinea do AA (Preda was doing AA on the basis of being top 4 everywhere, as a team player, the same reason she was the 2nd AAer at 2023 Worlds despite being 4th best AA). Voinea proceeded to get a 48 with 10s on UB & BB. This was right after the Spain & Sweden tri-meet (Patrick's first meet with the team) where the UB scores were: Barbosu 13.9, Preda 12.75, Cosman 12.05, Voinea 11.3, Ghigoarta 10.65. Preda nearly quit the sport over this.

There was also the case of Melisa Orazacai, a promising 2009 who was super close with Sabrina and basically Camelia's second daughter. After summer 2023 Camelia started to ignore her completely & would scream at her. She then fractured her cartilige (?!) which Camelia tried to make out to be no big deal, her dad started going after Camelia on Facebook, and she quit.

There was stuff about Amalia Puflea too that I am not remembering fully.

If you watch any footage of Romania from 2023-24, you will hear the other girls screaming their lungs out for Sabrina while she competes, but it's dead silence from her when they go. That video from 2025 Euros with her being a poor sport after Ana hit bars in THE TEAM FINAL was representative of literally every other comp she's been in.

Apparently Jessica from Gymcastic said after the floor results came in that Camelia was livid and started screaming at another Romanian coach. Jessica also apparently said in qualifications Sabrina left early to go take photos with fans rather than support her team finishing on bars.

They physically beat Cercea up and nobody did anything about it? This whole saga just gets sadder and sadder.

Also, not "allowing" others to use "their" equipment is just so petty and pointless. It's not like they're going to wear it out.

I think you need to be careful when you are saying the Romanian Gym Federation, because they have new leadership since March 2025..

FRG had elections in March and brought back the old guard with Camelia and Sabrina campaigning heavily for the new president, Ioan Suciu.

And when Denisa says "Ms. Corina Moroşan, Ms. Carmencita Constantin, and Ms. Silvia Stroescu are the only people who were with me from the beginning..." these are the people who were Running the federation until March.

Carmencita was the fed President and resigned. Her general secretary was running against Suciu and lost.

When Suciu won, Stroescu resigned as manager of the WAG programme.

Morosan is the coach of course, and so she is still around, But she is also viewed as "new guard" and supported the Dutch coach and some people ahve also made statements agasint her and there were rumours she may be removed as a national coach.

The election was really a lot about "going back to the Romanian ways of running gymnastics" vs "a new way of thinking and bieng open to new ideas like the Dutch coach".

I think that is all important in looking at the situation now, especially when Denisa talks aboiut how no-one would listen to her in the federation. Because the ones in charge now seem to have had Camelia Voinea's very vocal support.

Sounds like instead of being some savior of Romanian gymnastics, Voinea is singlehandedly destroying their success

Imagine if the Voinea’s put that much effort into gymnastics knowledge, coaching and practice instead of toxic activities and bullying.

I missed Barbosu at Worlds, but maybe it's just as well she didn't go. Stanford is a much better place for her. God knows what the Voineas might have done to her in Jakarta.
