Golgota Files Abuse Complaint with FRG

It's astonishing to me the way Romania seems willing to tear down their entire system for one athlete and coach. But I guess it's really more doubling down on the old way of doing things, that the way the people in charge were brought up wasn't wrong and how they're continuing is still the best way. Too much sunk cost for them to be able to overcome the thought process that also advantages them, too much of the goal being personal satisfaction instead of team success.

Do the higher ups still see Sabrina as the savior of Romanian gymnastics, despite everything? Or is there just too much invested in saying it to backtrack now?
It is ironic that Octavian Belu and Mariana Bitang are so involved in all this. It's hard to imagine that they'd ever have indulged inconsistency like Sabrina's, or just ignored the bits of the code they didn't fancy when planning her routines. Yes, I think too much invested ...

Apparently the 'Voinea National Team' is back training at Lia Manoliu, because this is the facility provided by their club...
Their supporters on Facebook are trying to frame the disbandment of the national team as a standard post-Olympic restructuring and are completely dismissing the logistical nightmare faced by the rest of the women.

^Yes.
Lia is a multi-sport national training center, similar to INSEP/Round Lake, which also provides affordable/subsidized(?) dorm accommodation for national team athletes across multiple Olympic disciplines.
I've always found it odd that Sabrina lives there and not with her mom, but it's probably for the best...

I'm not sure. Based on some of their interviews, she was living in the dorm in the lead up to Paris.
It's obviously not unusual in the context of elite gymnastics, but I would assume most pre-college aged people would rather live at home, if given the opportunity.
I'm pretty surprised Camelia/any allegedly abusive coach would give up the opportunity to fully control their gymnast 24/7, but she did mention encouraging Sabrina to socialize with her fellow high-level athletes...
Sorry for editing the post, but I've spent 60 minutes reading through Facebook comments on an FRG post asking for corporate sponsors.
A violently pro-Voinea poster alleges that the Federation is financially enabling Amalia and Maria to stay in Bucharest, because they're full time students there, even though, as far as she's concerned, they have no interest in continuing elite, as Amalia has signed with MSU, and Maria will announce her NCAA commitment soon. The latter turned 20 this year and is a university student, so I don't know if she's even eligible for a scholarship. Both of them are part of 'Tara, Tara'.
One of Anamaria's parents commented that they've offered to pay out of pocket for her to continue training with Corina, at 'Lia', but the Fed refused. She and Denisa are currently at Steaua.

What is ‘Tara, Tara’?
It's the campaign funded by the Belu and Bitang foundation to train up medallists - it means, Country, Country (We want Champions).

Sabrina Voinea, Ana Barbosu, Amalia Ghigoarta, Maria Ceplinschi and others of their generation had this funding but Denisa Golgota was of an earlier generation.

Another article about more accusations and photos showing bruises allegedly obtained from being beaten by Camelia.

English translation at Reddit.

Yes, probably safest.

Regrettably, they didn't get a forensic medical assessment, which would have put them in a much stronger position to take legal action against Camelia.

Supposedly, "Tara, Tara' is only ment to support gymnasts that turned senior during the Paris quad (born between 2005 and 2008), at least this is how they're justifying not adding Golgota, despite her strong showing this year or first-year senior Mihailescu.
Bellu and Bitang's 'House of Champions' Foundation is mentioned in a FRG post celebrating Blanaru's Junior Worlds bronze, so I guess that's another founding avenue.
Editing to add Golatzo's latest article containing an audio recording of the incident between Camelia, Denisa, Maria and the chiropractor Toni Foto.

I've tried to translate the convo, hope you get the gist.
M: Please don't get out!
D: I'm not. I'm staying here, what do you think.
CV: Just so you know, this is Bitang's equipment and she has said that, yes, Sabrina has priority, ok? They are not part of the project...
TF: I've spoken to Toldo (Sabrina's masseur) last week and...
CV:I don't know what you and Toldo have talked about, but I'm telling you very clearly, that you can't mass up my schedule. Let that be clear. You wait your turn,
TF: Let there be mutual respect. Wait a minute, I've spoken to Toldo...
CV: I've just spoken to Mariana Bitang, the equipment belongs to her and the priority is the child that's part of the project. End of story. If you've started (the recovery session) you may get a phone call from Bitang.
TF: OK.
Camelia slams the door shut
D: Maria, please call Corina, otherwise I'll call her.
TF: Wait, I'm calling her. I'm calling her.
M: Are you sure?
TF: Yes.
CV: I'm really not waiting for you, to get your routine and business done.
D: The Fed has said the equipment belongs to all of us.

The final paragraph states that Camelia has requested written questions, via e-mail, but had yet to respond by the time the article was published.

Equipment belongs to Mariana Bitang?? Like she bought it with her own money? I believe she and Bellu started the 'Tara tara.." campaign, but it's mostly (if no exclusively) sponsored by OMV Petrom, so how it can be 'her' equipment?
I start to wondering is Maneca-Voinea is a cash cow for people around her, and part of the money provided by sponsor(s) end up in their pockets. The more promising gymnasts (and strong and internationally successful national team), the less money for them.

OMV/Petrom is fully sponsoring 'Tara. Tara', so I find it highly unlikely that Bitang legally owns the equipment. I assume she has the final say on how funds are actually distributed, so being on her bad side greatly limits Denisa, Maria, and their team in terms of financial support.
