Jesse Moore (AUS) might be a chance for bronze in the AA, he counted two falls in quals: on PH and on his Kolman on HB.

He's been falling on both recently but can go over 14 on both when he hits so fingers crossed.

Yeah. I didn't see video of it but eye witnesses have stated that he landed his triple back rings dismount on his neck and was not able to move.
The German team withdrew following his injury.

I really enjoyed the women’s AA final. Great to see the Japanese women do so well and very happy to see Paullssen excelling with her new team. Excited to see her next year in NCAA, she has just the right combination of artistry, execution and difficulty to shine there.

This arena was so dark it makes the Swiss Cup blush. It's like they're doing gymnastics in a power outage and all that's on are the emergency lights.

Was that kip on the low bar an error (not part of intended routine)?
Only need to touch the low bar once in the current COP?

She was way over on the stalder full, so the kip was definitely related to an error. Which makes her score all the more impressive. But I think it makes sense -- the routine is pretty efficient, the cast to HS at the beginning avoids deductions for not going to vertical, and she has one of the better Paks and prettier full-twisting double back dismounts we've seen a while!

With a better stalder full and cutting the kip/cast on the low bar, she would score probably 15.5ish since she not only would get back a few tenths on the stalder full, skip the leg separation deduction going into the kip, and get 0.1 bonus for connecting the stalder full to the van Leeuwen.
