Both meets were strange. Not a hot mess per se, but... teams ranked 1,4,5,7 make it in? Two potential frontrunners out? And after how neither UCLA nor Utah looked ready to go at regionals, and they're both through? Weird.

OU with a much cleaner path to the title in one of their most underwhelming years in a while. But also Utah's best shot to win a title in forever with half the potential field already plowed through.

I almost never watch the awards ceremony but did this time. Unfortunately one of the things that stuck out was Selena HM ignoring Emma Malabuyo when Emma came up to give Selena a hug during the beam awards. It was so tacky and only reinforced the narrative about the childish/mean girl behavior that got her dismissed from UCLA.

Can’t believe LSU and Florida both out. They were my 1-2. Utah probably don’t get the credit they deserve for making finals every single year. So happy for Missouri
