Disappointing for Rucker

Yes, but it may end up being a blessing in disguise for Utah. She was hot or cold the last couple of seasons but was in lineups regardless (when back from injury). It may end up better for Utah to develop a vault spot and a floor spot that is always a hit.

I’m convinced that one of LSU’s key injuries last season actually made the win more likely by taking that gymnast out of lineups and having those spots replaced by gymnasts that proved to be more reliable post-season 9.9+ routines.

I don’t think that was intentional, her normal block is very good
