This is Laurie’s first big meet IIRC though so she is likely a bit nervous. It is a bit different to be at home covering US Classic compared to Worlds.

Tasha Schwikert’s first Worlds was not that great but she improved.

none of the AA medalists qualified to an EF in that worlds… it was weird

Zhang Nan qualified for beam finals but was 2 per’d by Fan Ye and Li Ya.

I think Khorkina was a reserve for UB and didn’t Carly get 2 per’d on UB? I can’t find a list of qualifiers quickly
